There will be a starter payment of a whopping £425.8 million which will straight away however part of this funding will be gained by shareholding distributions.  13% of the initial fee will be based on Intertain dishing out 56.8 million shares to Gamesys.  Following this, over the next 3 years – should specific profit targets be met – there will be further further payments made to Gamesys.

Perfect Partnership

Noel Hayden who is the founder of Gamesys and CEO will be part of the Board of Directors as a No-Executive Director as part of the deal.  When asked for comment – Hayden said that the 2 companies were matched perfectly.  He went on to say that even in their earliest discussions – it was clear that both parties had the same vision which he knows is incredibly important especially when trying to forge a long term business relationship.  Of course it was important to not only the owners and executives of Gamesys but their employees too.

John Fitzgerald who is the CEO of Intertain had a similar opinion – also stating that both companies had a similar vision, and that he was very much looking forward to building a long term relationship with one of the most respected gaming brands in the industry.
