In a surprise move that no one in the industry was expecting it seems that Gala Interactive have signed up with a new software partner. Following a long period of negotiations Gala Interactive have joined forces with the popular developer Odobo.

What is Going On?

According to a press release from Odobo, they’re going to be joining with Gala Interactive to provide users on both brands with access to over 50 new games. So users from both brands will be able to enjoy the likes of poker, blackjack, slots, Coronation Street Bingo and other great games whenever and wherever they like.

According to the founder and CEO of Odobo, Ashley Lang, this move will allow the creation of new real money games for UK players. She also said that they were thankful to the Gala Interactive group for choosing Odobo as their new software partner.

When asked what this new deal would mean for the Gala Interactive brand the companies Gaming Director, Mark Kemp, said that they would be able to provide new and innovative content.

He also said all the new developments would be available exclusively through the Odobo Marketplace, also that they were making sure anything they released was optimised for use across multiple devices.

But it’s not just games as Gala Interactive will also be bringing over the likes of Gala TV to Odobo users. For those that aren’t familiar with it, this is a system that streams live games to users with interactive presenters and hosts.

So you can enjoy an immersive game of bingo with a real caller from the comfort of your own home, it’s incredibly popular and one of Gala Interactives best features.

What Is Odobo?

Although it’s a lesser known brand, Odobo have actually been around for quite a while and are considered by many in the gambling industry to be one of the best software developers out there. They were the first HTML5 developer in the gambling industry to provide a marketplace for site owners to get real money games from.

They provide their partners with cloud enabled games and content that’s strictly regulated to ensure that all their content is fair and provides users with the best gambling experience they can have. Odobo also licenses their games out to over 40 different sites and operators in the industry. In fact, it’s highly possible that you’ve came across an Odobo game at some point.

They’ve also partnered with the likes of Bet365, Unibet and Betfair which are some of the biggest brands in the gambling industry, so they reach quite a large audience of players.

What Does This Mean for Other Bingo Sites?

Obviously this deal is great for Gala Bingo as it gives them access to a wider audience and more unique content. But, you may be looking at that deal and wondering, what exactly does this mean for other bingo sites out there?

Well, so far it seems that Odobo is becoming quite a big player in the online gambling market and that if it partners up with any other big brands some of the smaller bingo sites might not fair too well.

However, it could also lead to more sites partnering up with other providers which turn could mean we will get to play a wider range of unique and fun games on other sites.

Although, that’s purely hypothetical and we will have to wait to see how this partnership with Gala Interactive plays out. Either way, it’s certainly going to be interesting to see what the future holds for these two big gambling brands.
